Adult Day Services/Employment

Adult Day program

The Adult Day program provides meaningful activities to adults who are not interested in pursuing paid employment. Existing interests are expanded upon and new activities are explored. Connections and relationships are built as we seek to maximize the potential of each individual. Community involvement is encouraged. On average, 35 adults participate in this program.

Lynn Hope Industries, Inc.

Lynn Hope Industries, Inc. is certified by the U.S. Department of Labor as a sheltered workshop. Lynn Hope provides a variety of work services for Holmes County residents who are eligible for Board services. On average, 70 individuals participate in this program. Lynn Hope contracts with area industries to provide packaging, assembly, and manufacturing services within its facilities at the Holmes County Board of Developmental Disabilities.

Community Employment

Individuals who are interested in Community Employment are referred to Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities (OOD) for assistance in obtaining a job.  OOD and the individual’s SSA provide support to the individual as they complete job trials, obtain a job, and learn their new job.
